A little about me...

Hello.
So. Basically I decided to create a blog. Don't ask me why cause I couldn't give you an answer. The line in the header is from a Sondre Lerche song, "To Be Surprised." And you can listen to it here.
Anyways. I'll mention a few tidbits about myself...
I currently live in Manhattan attending the Fashion Institute of Technology as an Accessories Design major. I'm a girl with a huge heart and a lot of faith. Music, fashion, family and friends are a huge parts of my life.
You could say I'm pretty....hm...what's the word...ah, yes, informed, when it comes to bands and such. I take much pride in my music taste. Even with an iTunes library consisting of 4426 songs, I'm always craving more music. I'll listen to pretty much any kind of music. (Country and rap are a little iffy, but if I'm in the right mood you never know!) I'm all about some good acoustic guitar and good lyrics. If you want to win my heart, you know what to do!
Now, I am far from the typical F.I.T. girl, but I am obsessed with fashion, models and everything in between. Being so involved with it, I am constantly complaining about wanting better clothes. Life would be so much easier if I were fashionably challenged...
My family is one thing I cannot live without. I come from a family of 6 (I'm the youngest. And coolest. I think.) and what a crazy bunch we are. Being away from home made me truly appreciate them and everything they have done for me. I wouldn't trade them for the world.
Friends. FRIENDS. My lovely lovely friends. I have to admit, sometimes they know me better than I know myself! They save me from falling apart. Half of my heart is in Florida. <3
8) I am a little bit of a geek... and a chic geek at that! I'm a proud owner of an iMac and a MacBook. Need I say more? If you haven't made "the switch" yet, I would recommend doing so. (If you think Macs are complicated, you are WRONG. It's not the Mac, it's YOU.)
If you read this, I might just simply adore you. So with that being said, I will end this first intro entry. I promise to bring more exciting/interesting/cooler/neater entries.
